Lufthansa and Deutsche Post project new joint air-freight line

Bonn/Frankfurt, Germany - Application presented to Anti-trust authority

Lufthansa's air transportation division and express delivery company DHL, acquired by German mail delivery enterprise Deutsche Post in 2001, have presented request to the Bundeskartellamt, the German Federal competition's watchdog, for the establishment of a new joint cargo airline. The two societies have already collaborated since March 2004, operating on routes in Europe, Asia and Northern America....
