William Leff, a pilot with over 40 years of experience, was flying his World War II era airplane, a T-6 Texan built in 1943, together with his 19-year-old son as co-pilot, when he was forced to perform an emergency landing on the busy Wisconsin's Highway 41 due to an engine trouble.
