"Le Bourget" 2007. AVIONEWS Flash (2): Doncasters for the Trent 800 engine's blades
Paris, France - They will power the Boeing 777 aircraft
Doncasters, society based in UK, has been selected to manufacture the cast blades of Rolls-Royce's Trent 800 engines. The blades will be manufactured at Doncasters' facility in Bochum, Germany, (that previously has developed a similar blades for Trent 1000 engines). The Trent 800 engine powers the Boeing 777 aircraft.
