Two US Air Force jets collided near Fairbanks
Anchorage (Alaska), Usa - Two pilots were uninjured
Yesterday some minutes after 11 a.m. a simulated mission ended in a mid-air collision nearly 100 miles East of Fairbanks and Eielson US Air Force base in an air space known as the Pacific Alaska Range Complex between an F-15C aircraft from Langley base in Virginia and an F-16C from Nellis base in Nevada. The F-15's pilot ejected and the jet crashed. About an hour later the pilot was rescued uninjured....
