Lufthansa: third-quarter profits rise

Lufthansa flag airline third-quarter improved: the group earned EUR 125m, the profit for the July-September period compared to a loss of EUR 17m a year ago. The operating profit rise from EUR 200m to 218m. Overall revenues also rose (from EUR 4,25bn to 4.47bn), as staff costs diminished from EUR 1,15bn to 1,13bn.
