Iran Air will buy 22 MD-90
Teheran, Iran - Today it uses Tupolev-154M for domestic and international routes
Iran Air plans to acquire 22 MD-90 McDonnell from China. The airline was founded in 1973 under Iran Air's auspices in order to expand tourism thanks to charter flights. In May 1992, Iran Air Tour was commissioned by Iran Air to use leased Tu-154M for domestic routes. Today, the carrier operates by 14 Tupolev 154M for more than 450 weekly domestic and international flights.
