SABENA REPORTS HIGH LOSS IN 2000
BRUSSELS, Sabena reported a net consolidated loss of $288 million in 2000. Loss reached about $11 million in the previous year. The loss is owing largely to airline's activities (DAT e Sobelair) and costs of restructuring. President and CEO Christoph Mueller said a new business plan is to be presented to board and shareholders by the end of the month.
