New success for the British Rolls Royce
London, Great Britain - China Eastern Airlines chooses Trent 700 engine
Rolls Royce has signed, yesterday October 14, an agreement for USD 450 bn with China Eastern Airlines for the supply of Trent 700 engine to power the 20 new Airbus A-330/300 planes recently purchased by the Chinese air company (see AVIONEWS). This another victory for the British carrier, only one day after the order for USD 1 bn obtained by All Nippon Airlines (see AVIONEWS).
