US Airways: Bankruptcy Court approved the USD 1bn loan extension
Washington, USA - Necessary to keep alive the airline until mid-January
A Federal judge of the Bankruptcy Court approved the agreement with Government, lenders and US Airways to extend until mid-January the USD 1bn financing accorder to airline (see AVIONEWS): without the temporary loan, carrier would not be able to fund its day-to-day operations.
