Air China: agreement with Airbus for six A-319

Beijing, China - It will be used for the routes that link high-altitude airports

Air China would have signed an agreement with Airbus for six A-319 suppling, powered by CFM 56-5 engines, delivery of which is scheduled in 2005. Carrier would planned to deploy the aircaft mainly on the Chengdu-Lhasa route and on other routes which link high-altitude air stations in the Tibet and Sichuan Province in South-West China. Airbus A-319 after all, have already shown its outstanding performance...
