Washington, USA - Previewed new cuts to management and non-union jobs
After the agreement with pilots about the work contract (see for details AVIONEWS), US Airways would eliminate hundreds of management and non-union jobs, and impose further wage cuts in order to save more than USD 45m annually. The reduction would have to affect about 3700 dependents, as the airline Chief Executive said yesterday, which would have intention to diminish also the retiree medical costs....
