Iss: the Alenia Spazio Cupola module is ready

Turin, Italy - It's been delivered yesterday to ESA: it is equipped by 7 windows that will concur of having a good external environment visibility

Yesterday the Alenia Spazio has delivered to ESA, European Space Agency, during a ceremony kept in Turin, the Cupola module (see news AVIONEWS) for the International Space Station (Iss): it would be a structure knit of aluminum, approximately 2 meters of diameter and 1,5 meters of height, with 7 windows of glass (an absolute innovation) that it can accommodate two astronauts without need of space suits...
