RECONNAISANCE US PLANE CRASHES IN GERMANY
NUREMBERG, GERMANY, An USAF Beechcraft RC-12 reconnaisance aircraft crashed in a forest area near Nuremberg, in Germany. The plane, based in Wiesbaden, was on a training flight. Both the pilots were killed. This aircraft operates the Guardrail electronic intelligence collection system and it is used to detect hostile sources of communications, radars and other electronic signals.
