EMBRAER TO RAISE MONTHLY OUTPUT

BRAZIL, Brazilian Embraer said it is to boost monthly production from current 16 to 20 aircraft by the end of 2001. "We will deliver a total of 220 aircraft, of which 200 are regional jets (ERJ 135 and ERJ 145) and 20 are other models" by the end of the year, said Embraer chairman Mauricio Botelho.
