BOEING GOING TO UPGRADE EGYPTIAN MILITARY HELICOPTERS

MESA. USA, Boeing is going to upgrade 35 helicopters Apache AH-64A of the Egyptian Army, converting them into AH-64D. The industry will also supply spare parts and training. The total value of the program, according to what declared by Boeing, is of about $400 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2003. The contract is expected to be finalized ufficially in the coming weeks.
