Italy. Puglia airports: 132 flights during the G7

Satisfaction with the data recorded during the summit

There are 132 flights operated at Apulian airports during the G7 Summit. The data refers specifically to the movements recorded in the period 11-15 June 2024 in three airports: that of Brindisi-Casale, the "Marcello Arlotta" of Taranto-Grottaglie and the "Karol Wojtyla" of Bari-Palese. A success for the Region's airport system and for the organizational machine, which passed the stress test in the best possible way.

These are the movements recorded in detail: in five days in Bari, 62 movements were recorded (out of a total of 834 take-offs and landings) linked exclusively to the G7 Summit; while in Brindisi there were 48 and in Taranto-Grottaglie 22 (out of a total of 510 flights in the two airports). The movements largely refer to category E and D aircraft.
