AIR FRANCE ATTEMPTING TO ACQUIRE A STAKE IN THAI

BANGKOK, Air France chief operating officer Pierre-Henri Gourgeon said in an interview that the airline sees Thailand as an important hub for the french carrier in southeast Asia to expand destinations also to Australia. Gourgeon added that Air France is also continuing to woo Thai to join SkyTeam alliance, which now groups Air France, Aeromexico, Delta Air and Korean Airlines.
