TRANSAVIA, NORTHWEST IN CODE-SHARING PACT
AMSTERDAM, Dutch carrier Transavia Airlines said on Thursday it had signed a code-sharing and frequent flyer agreement with U.S. group Northwest Airlines. Thee agreement will take effect from May 2001 and the first joint flights will be to three Italian destinations and three Portuguese airports. Transavia is 80% owned by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines which is an alliance partner of Northwest.
