GE ENGINES POSTS $609M QUARTERLY PROFIT

USA, La GE Aircrafts Engines posts $609 million in profit for the second quarter of the year. It would be a jump of 20% over last year's numbers. In the first six months of 2000 profits of the company rose 18% to $1,1 billion.
