USA, Representatives from 16 major airlines has accepted the existence of an association between long-haul air travel and fatal blood clots, the BBC reported. Industry representatives have agreed to carry on a major program of research into the issue in the next two years. The representatives met scientists at a two-day conference organized by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva.
