INDIA TO BUY MORE THAN 200 AIRCRAFTS IN THE NEXT YEARS, SAYS AIRBUS FORECAST

MUMBAI, INDIA, Airbus Industries' latest market forecast said India's major airlines will have to buy 222 aircraft up to the year 2019 to meet increasing passenger traffic needs and replace their ageing fleet. 124 jets will be purchased to pursue the first goal, 98 to reach the last aim. Traffic should grow an average of 5,4% a year, Airbus said.
