FAIRCHILD DORNIER TO ASSEMBLE 728JET
GERMANY, Fairchild Dornier announced the assembly of the first regional 70-seat 728Jet has begun in the german firm of Oberpfaffenhofen. The aircraft is produced in a venture including the spanish Casa, belgian Sabca, german MAN Technologic, american Honeywell. The aircraft is planned to take its maiden flight next year and to enter service by the half of 2003.
