VOLVO AERO WILL OVERHAUL UK DEFENCE HELICOPTER ENGINE

STOCKHOLM, AFX reported that Volvo Aero has won an order for the overhaul of a number of helicopter engines from the UK Ministry of Defence: no financial details were disclosed. The helicopter engine involved is the Rolls-Royce Gnome, which is installed in the Boeing Vertol 107.
