AIRBUS A380 WILL COST LESS THAN ESTIMATED

TOKYO, Airbus Industrie said in Tokyo that the development of its A380 passenger plane will cost about USD$10.7 billion following an assessment of the superjumbo project, as Airwise News reported. The European company, which had put the development cost for the 555-seat jet at USD$12 billion, now expects to invest USD$5.1 billion of its own funds, with partners shouldering USD$3.1 billion....
