ALENIA WINS CONTRACT WITH ESA

ROME, Alenia Spazio won a contract with Esa, European Space Agency, worth 75 millions euro, for "development of upgraded technologies in multimedial satellite systems as EuroSky Way", as written in a note released by the company. The contract fits in the Esa Artes-3 program, started in 1997, to develop satellite multimedial communication systems.
