FEDEX TO PURCHASE A FREIGHTER VERSION OF A380

USA, The new was reported today by Frederick Smith, chief executive of the company. Fedex has committed to buy a freighter version of the new Airbus plane bacause it will offer roughly 40 percent more cargo space than the Boeing 747 stretch cargo plane and it would also be more attractive in terms of range and fuel burn. Smith declined to say the price of the plane.
