Why the eclipse of the Moon?

An eclipse of the Moon verifies when the Earth places between our satellite and the Sun. When the Earth produces the eclipse of the Moon, this one does not vanish totally behind the shadow of the Earth, but it always remains lit up with a reddish colour. An eclipse of the Moon (or lunar eclipse) can only occur at Full Moon, and only if the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth's shadow....
