Thai Airways to buy other A-330 airplanes

Bangkok, Thailand - In compensation for delays in the delivery of A-380

Thai Airways International has approved the purchase of eight A-330/300 aircraft from Airbus at a discount of more than USD 10 million each. Airbus had offered the discount in compensation for delays in the delivery of six Super Jumbo A-380s that Thai Airways has ordered. The first A-330/300 is due to arrive in September 2008 and the last in 2010.
