LOCKHEED MARTIN WINS CONTRACT FOR THAAD

USA, Lockheed Martin won a contract worth 4 billions USD for the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase of the Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), tactical ballistic missile defense system. The system is designed for protection of an entire area from short-and medium range ballistic missiles.
