Lebanon: the Italian artificers remove a plane bomb
Rome, Italy - The live bomb was a danger for the security of the zone
The activity of the Italian troops in Lebanon under the Unifil control goes on. Yesterday the artificers of the Italian contingent removed a plane bomb of 500 pound, pierced into the ground since long time and which avoided the entrance to a field in the north of Tiro. The operation went well and also allowed the restoration of traffic in the highway from Beirut to Tiro.
