Embraer receives an order for 14 planes from Virgin Blue

Sao Josè, Brazil - The Australian airline will receive since 2006 planes for USD 734m value

Virgin Blue has announced an order for 14 planes made by the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer (Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica). They are three EMB-170 and 11 EMB-190, and it has also been signed an option for further six. The 14 aircraft will be used by the Australian carrier to enlarge its network of regional connections.
