Scrambles in Japan have increased of 45%
Tokyo, Japan - 149 scrambles between April and September
The Japanese military planes lifted 149 times this year in the period between April and September for a scramble, as unidentified planes were sought. The scrambles so increased of 45% compared with the same period of last year, 93% of which were against Russian planes. The Chinese planes escorted by the Japanese military aircraft instead passed from 30 of last year to only one this year.
