Eight new airplanes for Philippine Airlines

Manila, Philippines - Choosing from A-340/600 and B-777

Philippine Airlines is planning to purchase 8 Airbus or Boeing aircraft, in order to complete the reorganization plan of its fleet. The choice will be between A-340/600 and B-777 aircraft. The carrier specified that the builder choice will be made short-time and the new planes will enter service between 2008 and 2009, replacing five B-747/400s and four A-340/300s that are currently used in long range....
