EADS: staff cuts and wage freeze

Paris, France - In order to face Airbus' crisis

Aerospace consortium EADS will reduce its administrative staff by 10% in Munich and Paris headquarters. The cut is the consequence of Airbus' crisis because of A-380 programme delays. An EADS spokesman in Germany said that the cuts plan was approved by the top management. The company will try to avoid discharges and will promote other initiatives, such as pre-retirement.
