Ugandan Parliament urged to allow president to buy new helicopter
Kampala, Uganda - The old helicopter broke down early this month
The acting director of the air force and chief pilot to the President has implored parliament to allow the President acquire a new helicopter. Members of the presidential and foreign affairs committee expressed concern over the condition of the old helicopter which broke down. The current helicopter had worked for seven years. A new helicopter would cost about USD 4.5 to 5m, furnishing inclusive.
