Alenia workers protest in Turin

Turin, Italy - Unions met Government representatives

Alenia's workers in Turin protested this morning for four hours and demonstrated in front of the city's prefectural offices. A union delegation met Vice Mayor, Marco Calgaro and representatives of the prefecture and of the regional government. Demonstrators complain about the Government's indifference to the company's difficulties and to jobs cuts: 200 people were made redundant at the Turin plant....
