Flight tests for the X-45
St. Louis, USA - Weapon bay and radar have been checked
The Boeing X-45 has performed some important flights in order to verify the functionality and reliability of this aircraft. At a maximum ceiling of 35,000 ft, this new UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) airplane has shown a great capability both in opening and closing its weapon bay, and in using its radar apparatus. Tests have been completed at NASA Edward Air Force Base.
