Nasa prepares a possible rescue mission

Washington, USA - For the next shuttle flight new security measures will be implemented

Nasa prepares a possible rescue mission for the next shuttle flight called STS-114, scheduled for March 2004 or even to earlier than January 2005, in case serious damages will not allow the spacecraft to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. If terrible troubles will occur the shuttle will use the International Space Station (Iss) to wait a rescue flight.
