AIRBUS: A380 TO BE PROFITABLE BY 2012

TOULOUSE, According to Philippe Camus, Co-CEO of EADS, the program's financial break-even point will be achieved with the 250th A380's delivery as early as 2011, no more than five years after the No. 1 aircraft's service entry date. The A380's catalog price is $216 million, but customers who have signed commitments reportedly obtained major discounts.
