Sydney airport was partially closed for a couple of hours after passengers had entered into a secure zone without being checked at the security screen. The departure gates used by Virgin Blue and Qantaslink were search along with the passengers and staff who had already passed through security checks. The incident was caused by the passengers who walked accidentally into the "sterile area".
