India launches supersonic missile test
Bhubaneswar, India - The missile can carry a 200-kilogramme warhead
India launched on Wednesday a supersonic cruise anti-ship missile - also called Brahmos - within the joint program with Russia. The test took place at the Interim-Test-Range at Chandipur, 180 kilometres from Orissa's state capital Bhubaneswar. The missile first tested in June 2001 can carry a 200-kilogramme conventional warhead, has a range of 300 kilometres and it can be launched from ships and aircraft. A.S....
