Resourcesat- 1 flies to the space

Sriharikota, India - Rocket launched for scientific observation

The Indian press declared that this morning at 10:24 local time, from a space center in Sriharikota, south east coast of India, a satellite for image transmission with the aim of scientific observation was launched. Resourcesat-1 of 1,360kg, that's the name that was given to it, reached the orbit thanks to a Plsv-C5 rocket.
