Lufthansa creates Lufthansa Regional

Frankfurt, Germany - The five regional airlines are joint together

Deutsche Lufthansa AG creates the new Lufthansa Regional branch which incorporates five of Lufthansa's separate regional airlines: Air Dolomiti, Augsburg Airways, Contact Air, Eurowings and Lufthansa CityLine. The aircraft at these bases are going to be painted in blue and white. The decision to create Lufthansa Regional was taken by the authorities in order to avoid unnecessary costs.
