AUSTRALIA WILL INCREASE DEFENCE SPENDING
AUSTRALIA, The government will spend an extra 12.4 billion U.S. dollars on its armed forces over the next decade. Three new air defence destroyers will be commissioned and four airborne early warning and control aircraft will be purchased from Boeing. Moreover the army will get 24 new armed reconnaissance helicopters and 12 troop lift helicopters.
