Cyprus to acquire French and Italian missiles
Nicosia, Cyprus - Turkey is considered a major threat
The government of Cyprus still believes the Turkish Air Force as a real threat, and for this reason it has decided to acquire Italian Aspide and French Mistral surface-to-air missiles, that will go to reinforce its defense. This can moreover count on Russian SA-7 and Tor-M1 missiles that, as those just bought, are part of the short-range armament.
