Pilot killed in "express" crash
Aberdeen, Usa – He was going to Oshkosh for AirVenture 2003
Larry Olsen, a 58-year old Vietnam veteran was just passing through while he was flying his Express going from Olympia to Oshkosh for AirVenture 2003. At about 4:30 pm, Olsen, fresh from a pit stop at Aberdeen, took off again, pointed towards Oshkosh. Transportation Director Dave Osborne said, "The plane had just taken off, left the airport, was banking and then notified that he was in trouble"....
