SECOND PANEL UNFOLDED ON SPACE STATION
USA, It took about two hours to unfurl the second solar panel on the International Space Station. The operation was directed by Cmdr. Brent Jett. Shuttle astronauts now will prepare for a more than six-hour spacewalk Tuesday to hook up cables to ensure power flows into the expanding station. Fully deployed, the two arrays span 240 feet from tip to tip, longer than the wingspan of a Boeing 777.
