From AVIONEWS correspondent at Le Bourget: Alcatel to build a satellite for a Brasilian company

Paris, France - A contract worth EUR 190m

It will be Alcatel Space, subsidiary of the French group telecom, to construct the satellite for civil use Star One C1, on behalf of the Brazilian satellite company Star One. The satellite, that will be launched in 2005 from the Arianes-5 carrier rocket, will offer services for the whole Latin America and according to the declaration given today from the Alcatel spokesman at the Air Show of Paris...
