BAE TO COMPLETE LOCKHEED MARTIN AIRBORNE-ELECTRONICS UNIT ACQUISITION

LONDON, ENGLAND, After definitive Pentagon and U.S. officials approval, BAE plc, an important British defense contractor, completed the acquisition of a relevant avionics and electronic airborne defense system unit of Lockheed Martin Corp. The deal, worth 1,67 USDbn, will provide BAE of important defense related technologies up today U.S. military secrets.
