A Finnish training jet crashes, the pilots parachuted
Helsinki, Finland - The engine went off
A Hawk of the Finnish Air Force has crashed on Tuesday close to the village of Salla, in Lepland, while it was carrying a training flight. The two pilots were able to parachute and have been rescued by a helicopter of the Frontier Guard after an hour on the site of the incident. According to the first reconstructions there would have been also the detaching of the engine: now it has to be verified...
